Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Brunner was lucky enough to grow up with a very charismatic, kind pediatric dentist. The man even took his patients with no fathers in groups to Brewers games at times – and Dr. Brunner was one of them! As he grew older, the dentist invited him to shadow his work and see if dentistry was the right path for Dr. Brunner as well, and he greatly enjoyed not just the work, but the patient dynamics he saw on display too. The rest, they say, is history.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Dr. Brunner pursued his dental doctorate at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry (but don’t worry, he’s still a faithful Wisconsin sports fan). Since then, he’s completed over 400 hours of continuing education, focusing on TMJ treatment, sleep disorders, cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, and more. He’s trained with the world’s experts when it comes to these troublesome conditions, and he’s more than ready to help you live a more comfortable, more well-rested life!
Today, Dr. Brunner is a Diplomate in the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, as well as a member of the American Dental Association and Wisconsin Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Brunner is the proud father of a teenage daughter and son. When he isn’t busy at work, he spends his time snowboarding, fishing, traveling in and out of the country, white water rafting, scuba diving, taking road trips, and trying lots of funky foods!
